How deep should I plant Hollyhock seeds?
Any seed gets planted at a depth of three times the width of the seed. The width of the seed is the middle dimension ie height, width, depth. Note that most seeds have two dimensions the same so thats easy , the most common dimenson.

Happy growing!
Reply:ABOUT 2 INCHES
Reply:I live in Alabama and in my experience you can throw the seeds on top of the dirt and they will grow and spread until you hate the sight of them and mow them down good luck
Reply:Just a quarter of an inch is fine. I used to just throw the seeds around the garden and they would always come up. Good luck!
Reply:I beleive it's 3 inches. Water and wait.
Reply:about a quater to half of inch is enough, make sure no signs of frost, they will germinate quick, and sprouts need to be warm
