It is probably your cultivar. MIne last about a week to 10 days.They do like wet feet and fertilizer though, so keep them moist and fed :)
What causes hollyhock blooms to fall off after 2 or 3 days?
That is simply the length of time the blossoms last. Hollyhocks are beautiful and I certainly wish their displays would last longer!!
